What to expect at your session
Having your newborn photographed is such a big decision to make.
Firstly, you can relax knowing I am enhanced DBS checked and fully insured.
What to expect:
My session fee is £49. This guarantees exclusive time in my studio and essentially pays for my time to take your photographs and the time taken to gently retouch your images, making them perfect to display to you at your viewing session.
Sessions are usually in 3 sections.
1. Parent shots/sibling shots - I request that very young siblings be taken away after this point.
2. Wrapped shots on my posing table (Like the one above)
3. A prop shot with baby in a bed or basket with accessories
Before you arrive, I will contact you to discuss everything about your session, including the choice of colours and props.
Babies are unpredictable, and newborns don’t always adhere to adult time frames! I am completely relaxed and patient, and want parents to feel the same way. Coffee, tea and biscuits are always available.
Will I be rushed? Absolutely not! Typically, a session can take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours. I don’t expect you to rush and allow plenty of time for feeding, winding, nappy changes and settling time. I often stop for a brew with Mum/Dad during these times.
I may not take the first photograph for the first 30 minutes, so be prepared for a chat!

After you have been for your photography experience, I will invite you back a few days afterwards to view your images.
On average you should expect to have between 10 and 20 images displayed to you at your viewing. You will then choose a digital package first. These images are suitable for printing up to 12 x 10 inches without losing quality.
After these have been chosen, it's time to create some timeless art for your home. I have everything from a folio box to wall acrylics and framed prints. It's your choice. Click below to see my product guide.
