What to expect at your Newborn PHOTOGRAPHY session
Newborn Photography at Helly Marie Photography
Having your newborn photographed is a big decision, and I want you to feel completely at ease. I’m enhanced DBS checked and fully insured, so your little one is always safe in my care.
What’s Included
My newborn session fee is £49, giving you up to 4 hours of exclusive studio time. This covers setup, your photoshoot, and the gentle retouching of your images ready for your viewing appointment.
How the Session Flows
Newborn sessions are calm, baby-led and usually follow three simple stages:
- Family & Sibling Photos
- Wrapped newborn posing on the table
- A prop setup using a bed or basket
Before you arrive, I’ll contact you to chat through colours, props and the style you love.
Relaxed and Never Rushed
Babies run on their own time and that’s completely fine. I allow plenty of space for feeding, cuddles and settling. Sessions typically last 2–4 hours, with tea, coffee and biscuits always available.
Sometimes we don’t take the first photo for the first 30 minutes, and that’s perfectly normal. It’s all part of creating a relaxed experience for both you and baby.
